It's only too bad Shino was allowed to complete the quarterfinal match.

This sentence really puts it in a nutshell. If TDs would disqualify players from inappropriate behaviour, it would help and not hurt the game. I also find the wording from Will Cockerell's report quite telling (he always writes very positively about WSOB): "The final quarter-final was a dreadfully unpleasant affair..."
