I wouldn't go all out to win this game with 6/2 or 13/10 3/2; I don't think the timing is there to maintain a homeboard. My main goal would be to avoid a gammon, and I think that with four checkers on the one-point I have a 50-50 chance to avoid the gammon. I don't want more checkers sent back, so I'll play the safe 13/9 leaving just two indirect shots.
