A play when in trouble

This is pretty desparate. The chances of containing black's blot seem remote. And attacking the blot or making more homeboard points hoping to contain is an exercise in futility. The chance of getting off the gammon are not good, and can hardly get much worse no matter what we do. But if we are lucky enough to hit a shot in the bearoff - the one legitimate hope in this position, it would be nice if it mattered. It seems that the key to maximizing black's equity here is to speed white's trip around the board while minimizing black's own movement in order to ensure that there is a home board left when a shot finally does come.
It seems critical to ensure that white enters immediately, and if that involves a trip to the bar, so be it. Delay is good. And prepare to bring checkers in to kill 6s otherwise.
