Cheating in Europe, Monte-Carlo and other celbrities of the game

Well yes, I did enter the Beginners division in MC to make a point, I did cash (saving my scalp), gave away my trophy to one of my opponents right after I received it and I never returned back to MC since. I wrote an article on GammonVillage about the whole thing, pointing out the failures of what is considered to be the flagship of all backgammon tournaments, which made me a persona non grata and brochures of my tournaments being removed from MC ever since...
Back to Jake´s story. To my knowledge, Mr. Simon Naim, as I call him, (I have a tendence to speak out real names if I have to), has been barred from many tournaments and kicked out of the French Frederation of which he was a member. However, he has not showed up at any international and important tournaments for years and for good reason, as far as those stories are concerned. Should he still be playing in MC, which is something I am unaware of, then it is another proof of failure of that event and its organizers, IMHO.
We should support a clean and fair game of backgammon, based on gentleman behaviour and friendship. Should we reach that goal as a smaller community and with a handful less individuals, so be it. Thank God, I am not desperate enough to depend on the registration fee of people of whom I think they are not good for the game and I can and will refuse such persons to enter my tournaments or even the playing room.
In order for us TDs to ensure the application of such measures, it is important for us to be provided with incidents and real names.
