Let's assume you're opening up XG and I will walk you through the steps to set up a position and start the rollout. So when XG opens you select 'Setup a Position'. From there the opening position will be on the screen and the dice down. Whatever the dice roll is doesn't matter, hit one of the analysis buttons in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
After you've done this you will see the plays appear in order/rank you're familiar with. Now, highlight the top two plays by clicking on the first one then holding down the control key and clicking on the second one. Once they're both highlighted right click and go to Rollout. From there I'd suggest normally choosing 3 ply with variance reduction. Assuming you've found this screen and you know most of the rollout settings are under Options >> Settings >> Rollouts you should be able to figure things out.
