Dump of Blot?

My thought process in short is "If my opponent's ace point was made would I pick up the slotted 5pt for sure?" My answer is *No* so I leave it slotted. I have the feeling this isn't the answer you're looking for though.

Setting up the resulting position is big for this problem for me. (or being able to visualize well) You'll see after 4, 3 you are well diversified should you get hit and having your opponent outboarded 4-2 you will be able to back into an attack if hit. The blot on his ace point helps of course and the fact that you would love to make your 5pt to ease your bear in and smooth your bear off.

What you (or I) might try doing is finding a position or set of positions and comparing the win % with the 5pt made and without the 5pt made to try to bring it home, see how much leaving it slotted is actually worth.
