I love Z because I know after 62R-63? the correct play is Z. There's nothing new to this position that suggests Z won't still be the best play.

I agree. Indeed, IMO, the presence of the 4pt will enhance Z (reverse split, 24/21 13/7) even more. On the Gnu rollout, 62R-63 is [Z S14] 15k, and Snowie (though I have only a full-standard cube-adjusted) is [Z S29 U42]. So, I would expect 42P-62R-63 (left-hand diagram above) to favor Z by at least .025.

I'm curious about 42P-63R-62 (right-hand diagram above), which is a lot more likely to arise (as you point out). 63R-62 is Snowie [$ S1 U7 Z15) 31k, and Gnu [$ S6 Z14] 46k 15kZ, so 42P-63R-62 should be a close contest. It seems I don't have a rollout for it.

This is less on-topic, but 42P-62S-63 and 31P-62S-62 (or 31P-62S-22) is an interesting position pair, shown below. Paul, you might recall that you rolled these out long ago.

Oh, and congratulations on your learning how to post positions; I know we have a lot to which to look forward.

Nack
