I can find only two legal plays: (1) 24/21 13/7 and (2) 24/18 21/18.
I believe most players would quickly play (1), covering all blots, but I would play (2), making the more advanced anchor.
White is ahead by 8 pips after the play. In a mutual holding game, if you lead in the race, even slightly, you want to have your back checkers as advanced as possible. The six pips in timing White gains by making the 18pt instead of the 21pt more than compensates for the deuce shot that he leaves.
