I would certainly have played 13/7 24/21, covering both bots.

I am aware that, in a mutual holding game, the player with the more advanced anchor enjoys an advantage. I would not think that it exceeds the cost of leaving a direct shot, even though Black loses the anchor to hit.

In Stick's 64S-63X-54@-63? position, Black is threatening to make a better blockade, which would increase the value making the 18 point to avoid becoming trapped. I'd still be very leery of leaving the direct shot,though.
