Glad the forums are back! Although I posted this position a week ago, I'll wait a bit before posting a rollout, due to the discontinuity in the service.

Well, a centered cube is a little artificial here. It's hard to imagine that Blue would not be owning the cube by now, unless White simply forgot about doubling. I don't think it would be that difficult to concoct other positions where, say, the only play that barely lets you take the cube (assuming your opponent suddenly wakes up next turn) is very wrong if you own the cube.
