In Response To: Doubles Doubling Decision from Pitt (Chuck Bower)

I would double somebody like neilkaz or John O'Hagan, and be happy to play this for the match against such an opponent. Against somebody on my level, and certainly against somebody I thought was weaker, I would treat the cube like h1n1.

There's no positional skill left. If I roll big and double him out, I'm closer to a 75% favorite than 70%. Remember, my opponent's range is now limited. If I double now, I can lose the match a few rolls later.
