Congratulations to Al Faller

Gary Fries finished at 8-1 for first place Sean Garber finished at 7-2 for second place Gregg Cattanach and Mel Rappaport finished 6-2 for third/fourth tie Barry Silliman, Rory Pascar, Carter Mattig finished 5-2 for fifth/eighth tie

These seven were the final seven without two losses after Saturday's play. Gregg was 6-0 while the rest were 5-1 heading into Sunday. These seven still had the chance to win it all going into Sunday morning.

Gregg and I were the last two undefeateds but after Gregg beat me 9-8 Saturday night we both flamed out to finish lower in the new format than we would have under the traditional format. But I won't complain, I liked the new format and hope the same or something similar is done next year.

Al Faller won a playoff amongst those who went 4-2 in order to share the fifth/eighth spot.
