In Response To: XG questions (mtuhtan)

1. CMark - Is there a way to mark moves in match which I would like to rollout, something like CMark in GnuBg? After marking moves, how to start rollout of that positions?

From one match you can queue has many RO than your want: just start the rollout and move to the next point of interest and click again the rollout.

However there is currently no way to queue specific rollout from different saved games.

The batch analyze feature can be use to roll all errors or blunders, but not specific positions

2. Windows 7 - Does anyone else have problem with visibility of some text (equity in doubling positions, tabs Mode and Analyze in Options menu, etc.)?

If you are using Large font (regardless of Windows version) there are a few text that can be truncated.

3. 3ply RED - Do you use it for rollouts? If not - why not? Is it ok to use it in some positions, and in others not? (Depending of volatility of position or sth else?)

3ply red is about 10 elo point weaker than 3ply and about twice faster. There are no guidline you can use to in which kind of position where 3-ply red will make mistake.

About using it for RO, like always that's a compromise between accuracy and time. A way to minimize the efffect of the "red" can be to use 3-ply for the first 5 moves and then 3-ply red for the rest.

4. Dice size - Is it possible to have smaller dice? (There is option for bigger dice, but not for smaller) Default size seems too big relatively to the board size.

No, you cannot make them smaller. I realize they are not regulation size, but visilibity is more important than reality IMO. Anyway maybe something to add in the future.

5. Manual dice - Is there an interest to put option for manual dice in New game window (as Gnu has)? I think it's more user friendly (faster, simpler) than to have to change this in the Options menu.

Yes it could be an idea. Though as it seems that manual dice is used only to input game, I am actualy thinking about adding a dedicated game mode for that.
