Ray, I appreciate you taking the time to convey the spirit of your speech in Pittsburgh for those of us who were not able to be there. I appreciate that, as you said, this is a written forum where you are able to eliminate emotion and consolidate your thoughts, but despite the absence of emotion in this post the underlying sentiment did make its way through somehow.
With the benefit of your post, I now understand that the purpose of your speech, among several other things, was to convey the message that you are going to get unfair rulings sometimes, and you need to be able to suck it up and overcome the adversity. That strikes me as a very, very, very important lesson, and it's unfortunate that no one seemed to grasp that as the takeaway from your speech. I'm not sure how that happened. Regardless, it strikes me as the kind of lesson that ought to be emphasized over and over.
By the way, there is at least one way that a player can have the dice in his cup even if it is not his turn. I will leave this as a quiz problem for the audience because everyone likes quizzes.
