I'm not a fan of using 4 ply as some sort of standard but it's seems you may be as a trade off between processor time so I'll give you another counter example to your example with 4 ply. In the original you have a dead spare behind the anchor so I think it's only fair to keep the spare dead. Comparing two positions you'll always have some give and tug both ways from the original, it's up to you, the bg étudiant, to decipher the important aspects of the position. Here I realize that my counter example isn't exactly fair either ... but that's fine, as long as we realize that.
