As I see it blue has enough timing provided he doesn't roll a big set or too many big numbers. Having a spare on the 23 is a tremendous asset to blue's position. Without it I wouldn't mind being hit.

As it is, I think having 1 more guy sent back will likely hurt blue's timing and not improve it. It is too hard to recirkulate the checker. If we knew we were going to dance, then it would be good to be hit but we're a favourite to get in straight away.

I will try the simple 13/8 and hope that my 26 pips on the mid and my 16 pips on my 8p will be enough to avoid crunching until he opens up his prime and I can spring my spare.

This plan is by no means sure of success as I can still crunch if I roll big numbers and he stalls too much when he is bearing in. But I think it is the best plan.

8/5, 6/4 is my 2nd option.

8/5, 13,11 is my 3rd option.
