Confusion about "2-point"

I'm slightly confused about what people are referring to by the "2-point." In Stick's response to Chase he suggested "There's also making the two point which might not be bad." Since Chase wanted to play 3/2, I interpreted Stick as suggesting 24/23, and evidently that's what Chase's interpretation was too.

Stick, when you said "There's also making the two point which might not be bad" did you mean 3/2 or 24/23?

John, when you said that XG prefers making the two point, do you mean 3/2 or 24/23?
