I've read all the crap about cheaters and liars and jerks and the like.

You have to realize that reading 'all the crap' is nothing like a representative sample of what it's like to play in an ABT tournament. I'd go further than Neil and say 99% of the people in the room are fun, good sports, have never cheated or lied in their BG game, and are enjoyable to play. You'll always run into a few players that are at worst, grumpy when losing, but that's no big deal.

The level of sportsmanship and fair play is extremely high in the ABT and I can recommend playing in it to anyone.
