9/6 only leaves 5 shots this turn. But it destroys one of Blue's few assets while exacerbating his biggest liability by stacking the 6pt higher. More shots will follow, especially if White hits on the ace point and Blue gets stuck on the bar. 8/5 is similarly flawed. Even if Blue isn't hit, either in his board or on the ace point, he's still got to cover it, from his stacked-n-stripped position. Maybe I'll learn something here, but 6/3 still jumps out at me. The checkers on the 6pt are doing nothing for Blue, and he's not going to be able to make his points in order, so he has to settle for what he can get.
