When I first started playing in Rhode Island in the mid 70's at David's Potbelly Restaurant, I was far and away the best player until you came along. I remember how you used to boast how good you were with numbers. We made a trip by train to the Big Apple Tournament in New York. For the entire three hour trip, you were discussing the difference between continuous and discontinuous cubes and other nuances of the game. This was at a time when most people barely knew the 3 : 1 rule and Magriel had not yet written his Bible. Hopefully, you will return revitalized and hungry. When you come back, I expect to see you perform on the world stage as successfully as you have performed in the US. Adieu!
