Rollout: An old Senkiewicz-Tardieu position

Of all the plays in the Senk-Tardieu match, this was the play on which Storer disagreed with Snowie most strongly. Tardieu played 13/7, and Storer approved, but Snowie dissented. The GNU rollout below sides with Snowie (g11 MET).
I don't pretend to understand this complicated position fully, but I would think that the fact that Blue hits with all 36 rolls after 13/7 is relevant. The tempo gain by hitting is quite valuable in this position since White is a lot more inflexible than Blue is. The 8-point does have strategic value but White is being a little optimistic if he thinks he can just strengthen this position with strategic moves without tactical blows. White must think tactically here; even if the bots are wrong and 13/7 turns out to be right, my guess is that it's likely to be for tactical reasons rather than strategic ones.
