In Response To: Director ruling (Barry Silliman)

Whether the other die is tossed or handed over doesn't make a difference, does it?

What you ask for to be clarified in the rules, is if both players should be able to roll simultaneously with the other, ie. have a die in his possession when the opponent rolls?

I'm afraid such a rule wouldn't make it less likely that dishonest players cheat their opponents of good opening rolls, or at least try to. Even though the behavior you seek really is what it ought to be (you roll simultaneously).
