Short race cube, lop-sided score

I don't have a source for you, other than myself. I spent some time looking at this some years ago after Kit commented that with an even pip count, the player on roll wins a little over 60% in a medium length race. I thought this a good bench mark, especially if I could easily adjust for small differences in pip counts.

It's been years, so I can't guarantee these numbers, but my recollection is this: 1) Given equal pip counts, the roller wins between 62 and 65 percent for races ranging from 100 pips to ~30 pips, respectively. (It's not a linear correlation, if that's the right term. The percentage increases more rapidly as the race shortens.) 2) Each difference in pips is worth between 1.5% to 3% winning chances, again ranging from a 100 pip race to a ~30. (And, again, it's not linear.)

Like I said, it's been years, but I think that's pretty close.
