In search of a new term

Here are some possibilities:
"Table Stakes"
Table stakes isn't exactly the same as money play, because table stakes implies a limit on what you can win or lose. But if you're playing for real money there must be some limit anyway, even if it is not spelled out in advance. In fact, it is probably wise to always play "table stakes" when playing for real money. And if you're playing for tokens instead of real money, it's not going to be much fun unless there is some way to ultimately win or lose, so you need a limit in that case too.
"Unlimited Stakes"
This is closer to what people mean mathematically when they say "money play". In unlimited stakes backgammon, all points have equal value. The proper play depends only on who owns the cube, not on the value of the cube.
"Unlimited Match"
This is what FIBS calls money play.
