The term I use for scores that are similar to money is NMS (Normal Match Scores) and I generally teach there are two kinds of situations: NMS and non-NMS scores. So we memorize the take point and POG for 2A-2A, 2A-3A, 2A-4A, 2A-5A, 3A-3A and say that everything else, on the initial cube, is close enough to NMS for intermediate players.
As players become more skilled, more scores, redouble take points, and more specific POG's need to be honed.
