hmmm...I guess I don't understand TurboBoost enough yet..

I see the i7-720QM says 1.6 GHz with TurboBoost up to 2.8 GHz. I had just assumed that if one was cranking a rollout that this mysterious TurboBoost would kick in and crank it up, and I would have expected higher numbers.

Or maybe the Calibration does not "heat things up" long enough to kick in this TurboBoost whereas a real life rollout would? Just speculating here.

Guess I should head over to Tom's Hardware Guide for some education in the matter.
