I usually bring 1 down from the mid whenever I hit with an ace, stripping the 8.

Looks like it is correct.

True for 62S-21, 62S-41, 63S-21.

Unclear for 63S-41 (and 63S-31).

False for 64S-21, 64S-31, 64S-41 (and 62S-31).

In this post, I've only covered standard third roll positions. For fourth and subsequent rolls, there are many more trues and falses.
