61 against a holding game - RO

In Response To: 61 against a holding game (Ian Shaw)

Ian, I'm betting your rollout won't be with Gnubg 3-ply checker play and 3-ply cube, so here's one that is. I chose 3-ply checker play because the 3-ply evaluation had the best handle on relative equities and best play. And I chose 3-ply cube on the chance that it might handle redoubles better against the holding game after 13/7 8/7.

The score (after 0 games) is: White 20, Blue 17 (match to 25 points)

Move number 6: Blue to play 61

Hmmm .. if using slow 3-ply, should probably go whole hog and use "huge" 0-ply and 2-ply pruning, instead of "normal" -- more grandmasterish!
