I am not sure, it must be very small. I could take the time to estimate it but I would rather spend the time telling you where I think the Holland Rule worked well-when one player reached match point and the other was far away. I have played and seen many matches where one player would win many hard fought games only to have the trailer come storming back to win the match with two or three auto-cube gammon wins. Backgammon match scoring rules favor the trailing player, much more than most games or sports that play to a set number of points. The fact that the trailer gets maximum efficiency from his wins, which was not likely the case for the leader, was offset somewhat by the Holland Rule. I think the Holland Rule benefited the stronger players because they rated to reach match point first.
