Only Herb Roman Got All 4 Right

I have always believed the rules for top, professional-level players, in all sports and games, should be different from the rules for beginners and average players.
One of the arguments against the Holland Rule, touch/move, clocks, and many other rules and restrictions that I think would make the game better at the highest levels of the game (and no problem for players of that level to understand and adjust to) is that they would be too complicated for beginners and turn people away.
There are many ways to make the game more of a true skill contest for the Open and Masters divisions that would reduce the luck factor and give us more champions based on skill (how about a tournament where you get X points for every match won and Y points for your overall PR? for example).
I know that it's not a popular idea, but some day I'd love to see the Masters Event be more of a contest of skill in this manner, and that would require several key rule changes.
