Rules often sound good on paper, but until you've really tried them out, you don't really know the practical application. Here we have an idea that clearly has some merit, but it has already been tried out and when people like Neil Kazaross and Joe Slyvester say we're better off without it, and when David Rockwell, who is one of the best teachers in the game, says it would complicate things for beginners, I think we'd be foolish not to listen to them.
