In Response To: Nackgammon Opening Rolls (Phil Simborg)

The more common a variant like Nackgammon becomes, the more it will become the subject of rigorous study. Ultimately you end up just giving the top players more to memorize, as well as creating a significant barrier to entry for newer players considering taking a shot at the Masters. I disagree that it would drive up attendance; people don't drop $500 on a side event just because the format sounds interesting.
