From Nordic final, match 2

Position 1: 7(2) 18 and 16 for me. Very flexible, and a 5-point prime. This play makes it difficult for Blue to create a counter prime.
Position 2: Behind a 5 prime, I do not want to get a lot more checkers hit. I probably just make the 3 point. Then, if more checkers get hit, I could rectify my timing, if not, I just build my board and prime, and hope to win this as prime vs prime. I may also play 13/8/5 or 13/10*/5, in any case, I would not maxi-blot unless I would feel that would induce a lot of playing mistakes that the other plays would not - so I'd need to know a lot more about opp.
Position 3: I'd double because with the many blots around, great chances to push opponent in a bad backgame. I can see the argument for waiting though, because normally your position is not going to improve a lot over next turn.
Did you also have a look at the first game of the second match? I thought that Falafel passed an insta-take at 0-0, but do not recall the exact position. Prime vs better prime.
