I don't own XG because I don't have a Windows machine, but the greater speed of XG has to be a big win.

That said, the most important factor in your learning is not this tool or that tool but your own attitude. If you are serious about getting better, then formulating a solid study plan and diligently putting in the required effort is the most important thing; you'll then improve regardless of which bot you use. Conversely, getting the latest and greatest bot with all the bells and whistles is not going to make any difference if you don't have an effective training regimen.
