How does disagreeing with a play mean cheating?

Based on my experience with these types (e.g., on rec.games.backgammon), I would guess that the reasoning goes like this: Bot make "ridiculous" move, then rolls "luckily" and wins. Therefore, bot must have known what roll was coming up and played accordingly.
