I appreciate, as always, your thoughtful commentary, Tim.

I'd just add here that I believe Position 1 is likely to be a decent double. First, DT leads ND by only 0.006 in your rollout (indeed, the SD's say "TCTC"), Second, I'm not sure when your 2-plied bot will get around to doubling, but when it does, it will likely overestimate White's 22-point anchor game, as Gnubg 2-ply generally does (and does here, too, as your rollout compared to a 2-ply evaluation shows).
