Why has no one posted this?

Chuck, I think the reason this hasn't been posted is clear. None of us know the facts or what really happened and none of us has the right to speculate, publicly, because it is inappropriate and even "opinions" could be considered slanderous or possibly libelous. Even if statements and opinions were expressed as just that, they could be hurtful to innocent people.
So none of us can offer any kind of facts or opinions or even make statements relating to what happened or is happening, and as Stick pointed out, all of this may be nothing more than gossip and conjecture (even though it appears in print).
So for many reasons, while some might voice their concerns and opinions and questions in private conversations, its clear that no one should be doing so in a public forum such as this, as there could be serious repercussions from doing so.
Now, some people have said to me that no matter how this plays out, this kind of publicity is not healthy for the USBGF. To that I say baloney....nothing that happens in this case will have any ramifications on backgammon, in my opinion. People will support the USBGF and backgammon regardless of what they think of any individuals involved in the game.
