Under normal circumstances 6/off 6/2* would be correct, for reasons already mentioned.

But the diagram you're giving seems to be for money game with the cube still in the middle. If the Jacoby rule is in effect then that means that gammons don't count.
In that case blue should prepare for doubling white out and he should make the play that makes it the least probably that white can take the cube next turn.

I think white still can take after 6/off 6/2* when he counters with 2-2, while after 6/off 4/off he can never take.
So that would make 6/off 4/off the correct play by a very small margin.
