In Response To: 53 to play, many choices and plans (neilkaz)

GNU 4-ply suggests that double-hitting is stronger than I thought, mostly because Black has two blots in his table. Lift one of those blots and typically 8/3 6/3 stands out.

For those who were tempted to break anchor and who own Robertie's 501 Essential Backgammon Problems, I recommend looking at positions 41 and 284. The current position is sort of between those two but I think Yellow's nonexistent home board is the deciding factor here.
