Splitting is dangerous, but gammons don't matter, White has the better board, and hunkering back on the 24pt is dangerous also, so I'd start with 24/21. No good 2, but I'd try 7/5. I don't want to give up the midpoint yet, or to leaves four blots, so something has to give up front. 7/5 keeps the 9pt, which is the better blocking point, and gives better distribution, plus if White is attacked, he can sometimes use return 6s to remake the 7pt (albeit giving up the midpoint in the process).
