Closed out and recubed

These types of positions are on my list of things I need to figure out. My tendency is to cube, since any 6 is a market loser and Black usually has two or three rolls to roll one. However, I've gotten dinged a few times for doing this lately without understanding why, so I'm a little gun shy. I do think White is supposed to take, however.
