Paul, your ideas sound excellent.

I have only one small comment, which is that I am not sure that calling it the "Othello Cup" is a great idea. Don't misunderstand me: I think it is a great gesture to name the cup in honor of Itikawa. My concern is only that, as a player of the board game Othello, I find it kind of confusing. Maybe you could call it the "Itikawa Cup" officially and refer to it as the "Othello Cup" unofficially?
