I have seen some players do this. I first witnessed this form of backhand in the game of one-wall paddleball. Of course in paddleball it is common for players to actually switch the paddle to their other hand in lieu of a backhand. That is not legal in racquetball as the wrist cord of the racquet must remain on at all times.

Anyway, for those trying to envision this, imagine a normal backhand stance except that the wrist and forearm are rotated 180 degrees during the swing so that the palm faces forward and the racquet is pushed (like the forehand) rather than pulled (standard backhand).

It is possible to generate decent power in this manner. But there's no way this method will generate more power than a mechanically correct backhand (it can certainly have more power than an incorrect backhand). In fact, a mechanically correct backhand is a simpler and more natural stroke than a forehand. I was able to hit harder and more accurately with my backhand. It was a competitive advantage because it often took opponents quite some time to figure out that they should be playing me as if I were a lefty.
