Harvard correctly points out that when you win, you get your $1 stake back plus $35, so you only need to win three times to avoid being poorer.
If I put this into the formula I derived before, I get the probability of coming out ahead as 54.3%, so the answer is, surprisingly, E. The casino makes all its money on the losing sessions, even though they are in a minority.
I wonder how many consecutive wins you can achieve before they politely ask you to leave?
