In Response To: Seven-point prime puzzle (new) - Spoiler (Nack Ballard)

I had never looked at the unblocked position. After concluding that there is no third set of numbers that works in the blocked position, I looked a the unblocked position and found the pairs of 6,6,4,3 work. This is a total of 76 pips and only 72 pips are required, but you can afford to waste 4 pips with your remaining back man because you use one less crossover advancing the other back man. Since this set does not work in the blocked position and since you said that there were three working sets, I must conclude that there are three that work in the unblocked position and two in the blocked position.
