I was going to respond to this but got too busy. Position & ROs are very interesting though.

I agree with Fabrice that it doesn't make much difference whether you leave the blot or not. I would be more confident in blotting if opp were down to a 1 point board but I feel a 2point board is weak enough here. I don't really care about the blot, I just think the structure is better (easier to keep/remake a solid prime). 7/4 is ok too but I like having the ace to hit from the roof.

Interesting to do some experimentation with GNU/Snowie/XG to see which bot & settings are able to play the position the best.
