For 31P-11N-32, compare these results:

XG 3-ply [Z U4 S11] 31k
GnuBG .. [U Z40 S43] 1k

The latter result was posted on the site until not long ago. Fortunately, Stick has been diligent in extending these 1k's. I point this out mainly to warn of the dangers of paying attention to rollout results of only 1296 trials; here the shorthanded margin differs from the more reliable one by .044.

The extended Gnu result is [U Z8 S13] 10k. If extended further, Z might cross over and show up as the best play. Or it might be a difference in the bots (or some of each.)
