I agree with Chuck and would add that b/18 doesn't even work when it works. Let's say Blue comes out to the bar point and White manages to miss both blots. Blue is going to have to roll JUST SO to get his act together. Further, let's say Blue manages to do that, rolling a welcome 54: 18/13 6/2. Things have now gone perfectly for Blue, yet he's still in a bit of a mess. His 6s play poorly and his spares are in all the wrong places.

Hiding, and solving one problem at a time, looks better to me.
