One of the difficulties is that one you enter, the 21-anchor is really stacked, so you need to jump checkers into the outfield.

I'm surprised you're the only person who mentioned this.

If I may quote myself: "If White dances just a time or two, Black will be out and headed home with good outfield coverage to pick up any White checkers which must soon also venture into the outfield."
