Ai, too many choices... I have a hard time separating things out. It's moves like this where I feel pessimistic about my understanding of the game, and I am sure I'm going to err. So, let's get on with it.

After rolling 16 pips, we're still down 41 pips after the roll, so I don't want to leave the ace point for sure. At the same time, a lot of our play comes from the golden point. Unfortunately, we can't do anything with the spare back there except advance it to the 16 point, where it's a sitting duck.

I'd like to keep as much flexibility as I can with spares -- we're probably not going to hold the midpoint much longer, but I also don't want to leave just yet.

Yar, let me just barf up a whopper and be done with it. I'll make the 2 point, and will be ready to just clear the mid soon.
